SCR-2

  • Paddlers interested in competing in standard class marathon events
  • Recreational paddlers looking for a high performance cruising canoe

    Jensen SCR-2, 18'6"
For people interested in competing in the growing standard class, there's no better hull than our SCR-2 (Standard Class Racer).
The SCR-2 shares the same modified "V" hull contour of the USCA cruisers, and is just a touch slower than our V1-A marathon. The SCR-2 is deeper throughout its length keeping paddlers and the canoe drier, while providing additional stability and security for paddlers new to the excitement of marathon paddling. Yet the SCR-2 is easy to paddle as we pull the gunwales in at the paddling positions for an easy, powerful reach to the water. Most paddlers find it easy to balance and paddle in a race, and many SCR-2 owners use the canoe as a fast, performance cruising canoe on the weekends and after work.
