Stingray Two

The Stingray Two is Karel Tresnak's newest addition to the outrigger Connection line of high-performance canoes. The Stringray Two catches the bumps with ease, keeps its head up in the big stuff, and accommodates a wide range of paddler sizes, while sharing the beautiful eye catching lines this legendary canoe designer has bred into his other creations.

The Stingray Two is the most competitive OC-2 to hit the water, and much more. This canoe answers the needs of many, from initiating new paddlers who want to develop their skills, to couples wanting to enjoy competitive paddling together. The stability, versatility, and raw speed of the Stringray Two makes it a perfect match for all of these missions.

The Stingray Two is already making its mark in Hawaii, consistently winning races with the same performance superiority that has propelled the Stringray OC-1 to the top of its class. The sophisticated hull design features the unique "V" strakes in the hull which actually planes at higher speeds resulting in less drag and faster performance while surfing. These "V" strakes also increase tracking and provide lift resulting in a very fast hull with minimal wetted surface. The Stringray Two is designed to handle and fit a broad weight range of paddlers and comes equipped with adjustable sliding seats for optimum position and power. Other features that have been designed into the Stringray Two include an iako system that is both easy to assemble and fully adjustable to suit any individual's trim requirements, venturi scuppers that quickly expel water from the foot wells, and a built-in safety tether.
